LAHORE: Amjad Saleemi has been appointed as the Punjab Inspector General (IGP) after a notification was issued by the establishment division on Monday.
According to the details, Saleemi has replaced Tahir Khan who had served as the Punjab IG for a period of one month and two days.
Earlier, the newly-appointed Punjab IG had served as Sindh’s police chief.
