LAHORE: The semi-finals of National T20 Cup, which were scheduled to be played in Rawalpindi today have been postponed due to countrywide riots and protests against the government’s crackdown on Faizabad sit-in, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Saturday.
The board said it is monitoring the situation that has developed and will update on the latest development.

The first semi-final is between Lahore Whites and Faisalabad, while the second is between Lahore Blues and FATA.
Earlier today, a policeman was martyred and at least 170 people injured, including several security officials, in clashes with protesters after security forces launched an operation to disperse the weeks-long sit-in at Faizabad interchange.
