Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur has termed the performance of Pakistan cricket team against India in the Asia Cup 2018 as ‘disappointing’ saying that the team is suffering from confidence crisis.
Mickey was sharing his views with reporters following the Pakistan team’s second defeat by India in the tournament on Sunday.
“They [team players] are suffering a bit of a confidence crisis at the moment. There is a little bit of a fear of failure in the dressing room. There is a bit of a reality check of where we are as a cricket team,” the coach said.
Admitting that Pakistani team could not capitalize the chances given by the Indian batsmen in the recently played match, Mickey said: “When you let these guys get in on a wicket like this, they dominate you. We need to get into their middle order as quickly as we can because that is when we can inflict the most damage and assert pressure like they did to us.”

On Sunday, India defeated their traditional rivals by nine wickets in the Super-Four match of the Asia Cup at Dubai International Stadium. Chasing a modest target of 238, India raced home for the loss of nine wickets.
