ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan wrote a letter to United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon demanded an immediate halt to the Indian aggression at the Line of Control (LoC).
It has been mentioned in the letter that the human rights violations in Indian-held Kashmir (IHK) have risen to a drastic level and that is why, the meeting of UN Security Council should be summoned with immediate effect. The PTI chairman also mentioned that ensuring the global peace and stability is the job of UN secretary general –underlining the unresolvedKashmir issue.
Imran also expressed through his letter that the Indian forces deployed at the LoC have resorted to unprovoked firing and which has resulted in civilian casualties as well. Imran also said that regional peace and security is under threat owing to Indian violence.
